RMC ONLINE RACING
Banger Rules Book
Please read every rule before racing.
▸ LEANING
Leaning on another driver to gain a position or stop them is not allowed. Continued leaning may result in warnings or a ban.
▸ PINNING
Holding a car so it cannot continue in the direction of travel—by stopping in front, turning into its side, or reversing into it for an excessive time—is not allowed.
▸ OPPO
Oppo is permitted in corners 2 and 4 only. The zones will be confirmed before each meeting. You must be on the outer side of the Armco to take a shot; inside/outside does not define the zone.
▸ F7 & F8
If you are stuck in another car, reach the infield before pressing F7 or F8, unless reds are called by 17 Reece Cook, 71 Ryan Martin, or 157 Craig Willson.
▸ RETURN TO BEND
Do not turn around on a straight to head back to a corner or drive from the infield directly onto a corner. If pushed from a corner onto a straight, continue with the traffic before returning.
▸ INFIELD / OUTFIELD
No contact may be made on the infield or outfield, including while entering or leaving it, except for genuine accidents such as spinning out.
▸ LUNGING
Keep lunging to a minimum. Excessive or repeated lunging may result in warnings and removal from the meeting.
▸ DOOR SHOTS
Blatant follow-ins on the door are not allowed. Admins understand accidental contact can happen. Door shots will be monitored, and video evidence must be provided.
▸ SHITHOUSERY
Do not take a shot and hide on the infield or encourage others to hit you there so they receive a penalty. Drivers sitting on the infield for more than two laps without attempting to rejoin or retire may be removed from the result. Brake-checking to hold drivers up, or leaving for several laps and returning to attack someone or affect a result, also falls under this rule.
▸ BOOSTING
Boosting is not allowed at any time. If an admin sees it or receives clear video evidence, the driver may be banned immediately.
▸ CARS
Once the meeting has started, no car changes may be made, including colour changes.
▸ CARELESS REJOIN
Do not pull away from the infield or outer track areas into the path of another driver.
▸ DISREGARD FOR RULES
A driver who receives more than five warnings in one meeting is showing complete disregard for league rules and may no longer be welcome to race.
